Paytm Going To Come With New Mutual Fund App

Menu >> settings >> advanced options >> battery >> battery mode >> turn on battery saver mode.

Also you can stop or kill unwanted applications running in your device. For this you can use apps like clean master etc. Stop using live wallpapers and turn off mobile data when not in use.

Note:- Also this problem is under consideration by the MIUI  and will be fixed in next update.

Touch screen not working or responding very slow

Some times in the middle of any task Xiaomi Mi3/Redmi 1S touch screen stop responding or show lags. Xiaomi Mi3 touch screen responding very slow.

To fix this problem you are advised to restart your phone. Else lock and unlock your Xiaomi Mi3/Redmi 1S, this will help you.

Changing Default MIUI Launcher

Most of the Xiaomi Mi3 and Redmi 1S users are facing problem with the launcher and can’t find the option to set the Google Launcher as their default launcher.  Many of you would be surprised to see there is no app drawer in the MIUI android version!

You can enable third party launchers like Google Now, Launcher 8, Go Launcher Ex etc., on Xiaomi Mi3 or Redmi 1S smartphone. To do this download the launcher from Google Play Store.

Settings >> Apps >> Default App settings >> Launcher >> Select Your Third Party Launcher

Thats It !!

Save Apps To SD Card

You cant save apps to SD card, this will solve by rooting your phone and use Titanium back up for saving apps to SD card. Also MIUI told that they will solve this in the next update.

Poor visibility of Navigation Bar during night times

Redmi 1S has non-backlit menu/navigation buttons, which are useless in the dark.

To solve this, you have to root your mobile and then use apps like Softkey Enabler etc. to activate virtual nav bar on your Redmi 1S.

It looks and feels strange to use all your apps from the home screens. Here I am installing the google now launcher, you can download any launcher from google play store and activate it. The procedure is same for all. So today in this post we’ll show you how to enable launcher like Google Now etc., on Xiaomi Mi3 or Redmi 1S smartphone.

 STEPS TO FALLOW:-

Step 1. Open the Google play store on your Mi3 and Install the Google Now launcher AND   Google Search App. (Install Both otherwise it will not work).

Step 2. Once the Launcher is installed on your phone, you will see the new Google Now launcher icon on your home screen. Click on it to open and it will ask you to clear launcher defaults on your settings page. Click the cancel button here, because this method will now work on Mi3 device.

Step 3. To set the launcher, go to the phone Settings >> Apps. In the app screen you will see the “Default App settings” icons, click on it to open.

Step 4. Now from the next screen click on the Launcher and select the “Google Search” and hit the Replace button to set it as your default phone launcher.

Step 5. Now you will see the Google launcher on your phone screen with new icons.

That’s it! In future id you want to go back to you system launcher, follow the Step 4 again and select the system launcher, simple.

Mobility solutions provider Vavia Technologies today launched a solution which allows users to get route directions on mobile devices without Internet facility. The latest facility are offered by the platform is 'Find Directions on SMS' and 'Send Email on SMS'. The new service uses Vavia's SMS based search engine – txtBrowser - that allows a user to access any information that is available on the internet over SMS by simply sending his query in natural language.

                   

The service will work similar to GPS without Internet. Users can find Directions on SMS without internet. To find directions user needs to send their query to 55444 in a specified format i.e. direction to over SMS. Eg: directions Saket to Mehrauli. In return this solution sends back an SMS with directions for the user in the following way:

Distance from Saket, New Delhi, India to Mehrauli, New Delhi, India is 4.9 km Duration is 11 minutes and the directions are:

1) Head west on Marg Number 32. Distance - 58 m

2) Turn left toward Gurudwara Rd. distance - 70 m

3) Turn right onto Gurudwara Rd. distance - 1.1 km

4) Turn right onto MehrauliBadarpur RoadDrive along the park
